摘要：The arrangement contains a frame refresh memory (BW) in which the charactersto be displayed on the display unit (A) are stored by means of binary-coded data words(D1, D2). The frame refresh memory (BW) is cyclically read out for the display undercontrol of a frame control unit (BS) and the data words (D1, D2) are supplied to a
character generator (Z) which precedes the display unit (A). The content of the framerefresh memory (BW) is updated by using a microcomputer (M). The frame refreshmemory (BW) is alternately allocated to the frame control unit (BS) or to themicrocomputer (M) by means of a switching stage (SS) in each case during the periodrequired for displaying a character on the display unit (A), so that the frame refreshmemory (BW) can be updated very rapidly even with large data volumes.
